SE Michigan Recruiter Connection

Earlier this year I was honored when asked to join the advisory board for the SE Michigan Recruiter Connection. This is a group of very talented recruiting and HR professionals from some of Michigan’s strongest companies.

Mission Statement:

A professional and social network for recruiters and corporate staffing professionals in the greater Detroit/South East Michigan area.

SE Michigan Recruiter Connection provides a welcoming and inviting culture and atmosphere where Talent Acquisition Professionals can share and benchmark best practices, transfer knowledge and support one another in professional endeavors.

We will facilitate regular events where recruiting professionals can engage in open and honest communication to better themselves as well as seek advice from members of the group. We will offer outlets to enhance members’ knowledge of the latest developments in talent acquisition with a large emphasis on emerging trends in recruiting, including the use of social media.

We will provide avenues to network, learn, share leads and connect business professionals, in a thoughtful manner.

We are dedicated to growing our membership as conscientious stewards of the talent acquisition profession.

All of this is done in a setting where, as H.R. professionals, we are mindful of the confidential information with which we are entrusted.
